Lake Sammamish was like bath water today. Warmest water I recall in recent memory, it was nice. Brought the kayak but was hot as balls so just swam instead. Click image for larger version.

Putting in the final board of my floor installation. About 1400 square feet. Man that was a lot of work. That may explain my slightly crazed expression.

I can't tell if you're joking, but the board that looks crooked is a small piece of scrap I used as a "cheater" to measure anytime complex cuts were required. What you do is line up the board to be cut exactly with the row next to it. Then the cheater board can be placed in the position where the cut is required (for example against a door jamb) and you mark the board to be cut with a pencil. That way you can mark everything out without needing a tape measure. Works very well. Hundreds if not thousands of total cuts were required. Buy a good cordless jig saw.

Oh yeah, just half-drunk sarcasm, lol. Floors look really good! Laying floors isn’t hard, per se, but I absolutely hate it.

Back at work today, but this was the highlight of my view this weekend, for 36 hours tied up with good friends and we brought in a one-man-band on a barge.

Wildfire sunrise this morning. Pretty worried about this one, it's right up against some of our town's most used public land.
