Someone was running a propane fire pit like that a couple weeks ago when we were camping during a burn ban and I said oh man I gotta get me one of those! Camping without smores is barely camping at all...
Brandine: Now Cletus, if I catch you with pig lipstick on your collar one more time you ain't gonna be allowed to sleep in the barn no more!
    Cletus: Duly noted.

It’s awesome. No smoke or hot coals, 11 hrs run time off a propane tank.

Nothing beats a real fire however.

    This brand is good

Ha! That's the farm I buy my peaches from but unfortunatly by the time I got there yesterday afternoon the cupboard was bare. However they did have freshly baked peach pie! So good and I didn't have to bake it.

Sigh... peach season is almost done. Gonna miss those fuzzy little fruits.

    Damn buddy...end of days.
Never in U.S. history has the public chosen leadership this malevolent. The moral clarity of their decision is crystalline, particularly knowing how Trump will regard his slim margin as a “mandate” to do his worst. We’ve learned something about America that we didn’t know, or perhaps didn’t believe, and it’ll forever color our individual judgments of who and what we are.

Yep. I’m always caught off guard how much this day affects me every year. Vibes to those of you who I know were much closer to the damage than I was.

I remember it like it was yesterday, and I was on the west coast. I can only imagine what it was like in NYC and DC.

Much better conditions in the mountains today, although the smoke was increasing there throughout the day. Glad I got up when I did.
