Spent 24 hours in NYC. Perfect weather for touring the city.

Very impressed by the High Line. It is a must see for anyone with a free hour or two in the City on a nice day. I've never scene a better repurposing of obsolescent infrastructure. My wife wanted to walk the High Line and I agreed but had no real interest. I'm so glad I saw it. The former elevated railroad turned nature walk meanders seamlessly through old and new architecture as though fairies created a magical river of greenery through the, brick, glass and steel hills and mountains of NYC.

China Town, Chelsea and the meatpacking district were a lot of fun.

Whoops! I didn’t strap the cooler down last night and we had a visit from Yogi and her two Boo-Boo’s at dawn.

Ha. I think it’s an IH. When I see shit like that I’ll often think “hey we should go see if they left some gold. I mean, you don’t think they’d just take ALL the gold and leave all the trash, right?!?”

Now that I look closely, I think Abraham is right, that is PC Blue.

And contrary to what (little) has been written about it, from that pic, and others I've seen, it's actually a chevy from the mid-to-late 50s.

The smoke haze has finally arrived in Western Washington. So far it hasn't made it to the surface so air quality is still good.

Ever forget to lock your car at night in the driveway? And in the morning someone took the change out if the glovebox?

I don’t lock my car at home. There’s no change in the glove box. I’m at a loss here

In the same Snoopy piggy bank I had as a kid.

Makes it hard to fit in the glove box though.

It was actually riser's kids. They left it unlocked to throw him off the scent.

Change? Nobody is using paper money anymore, hence no change.

I feel like I've used actual cash to pay for something about once in the last two years.

My wife actually got some cash so that we could tip hotel cleaning people, otherwise we even tip with Venmo.
