^Good on ya! Great skill to have. I've made a mess out of fixing/modifying gear by hand...mess meaning it works, but it's ugly. Thought about a machine for a while now.

The "Project Runway Limited Edition" model? Fierce! ;-)

My wife tried to teach me to use her machines once; I got too frustrated. Good for you for tackling it; sewing is a great skill ; saves some coin on gear too.

haha yeah i think i cringed a little when i saw the project runway thing but i guess it's a good starter machine. my mom actually gave me one of her old machines a while back but neither of us could get it to work. it will be fun to do stuff with the boy and yeah, quick preventative maintenance and repairs on clothes and gears will be nice.

now to learn to sew a straight line!

^^^^Uuuugh, looks like all the scrub brush on the way to Mammoth. Not sure how people can live in that. Thank good for irrigation or that is how San Diego would look.

No decent snow near P-Town, so decided to check out LS9000 National Monument, which is less then ten miles from me.
