HOLY...what a PIECE.OF.SHIT. While driving the Florida highways (not even the interstate), I thought I was going to die. God forbid a tractor-trailer passed...white knuckle all the way!!!!
Take legendary Fiat engineering, couple it with Chrysler reliability, start with a sub-compact and bloat it into some kind of crossover...

    What could go wrong?

I’m not sure if this is the right place, but I am sure as shit that the worst drivers on the road right now are Dodge owners, bar none.

In my fair city we’ve developed a bit of a street racing/drifting/late-night-burnout-while-shooting-guns-problem. In the past two months over 300 cars have been impounded in connection with the same. The vast majority? Dodge Chargers and Challengers.

Anecdotally, if there’s gonna be a car I find about 2” from my rear bumper (and I generally haul ass, drive right, and keep it safe, along with almost everyone else around here), it’s a fucking Dodge who will, no doubt, end up in a guard rail 5 miles down the road.

Double points for making the same basic car as a modern cop car be your vehicle of choice to go full-blown douche.

That must all those guys I see on Washington blvd on my way to after mtn bike burgers. It’s crazy but I see a lot of cops out there so I can believe all the impounds on the racers.

I need to go to Utah.
    Utah?
Yeah, Utah. It's wedged in between Wyoming and Nevada. You've seen pictures of it, right?

So after 15 years we finally made it to Utah.....

Thanks BCSAR and POWMOW Ski Patrol for rescues

This is as astute an observation as any I have heard in quite some time. That said, I still think the pre-2010 Ram 2500+, particularly in the color red, is the biggest douche-mobile out there.

To add another data point to support Bmills' hypothesis on the character of Dodge owners: I recently saw a dodge ram, driven by a dude looking well into his 30s, with a full rear window sticker with huge letters reading

    DODGE the father
    RAM the daughter

I guess that is one way to publicly announce one's pedophilia to the world without joining the priesthood.

A guy down the street from me has a mid-aughts 2500, red, diesel, "CUMMIN" sticker across the rear window, and an American flag flying in the bed. Never talked to the guy but between the truck and his personal appearance I know what I need to know.

Driving all day, 5 or 6 days a week, my bogey list:

    1) newer fullsize big 3 pickups, emphasis on bright red
    2) “hoonigan” sticker
    3) handicap plates
    4) fast and furious cars, emphasis on WRX
    5) 2 local trucking companies you wouldn’t know
(edit: continued...had to leave original draft to go drive with these idiots ^ and the following idiots):
    6) Car full of college girls, especially Illinois plates
    7) Brand new RV, emphasis on very large RV towing car/boat, emphasis on Bogey #1 towing new trailer.

Agree. Dodge drivers are the worst.

Just started driving a truck for a living 3 months ago and it’s obvious.

I saw some major assholery on 7 mile in the ghettos of Detroit today. Had to radio my partner 4 different times telling him to watch out... on your left... look out on your right...

    "Murano Cross Cabriolet"

Or, if you feel more like buying Murican, Buick offers the Cascada:

I remember when Volvo and Beemer drivers held the title here in the TRG.

I can’t really reflect on the drivers, but as a life long mechanic I can attest to the fact that Dodge/Chrysler/Ram/Jeep products break a lot more because of poor design and materials. When asked what to buy by customers I usually only tell them to not buy any FCA vehicles.

That said, the worst car sold here by far was the Yugo, there are a lot of shitboxes sold here, but those things were cheaper than cheap.

Agreed on most points above. Although, nearly two years ago, I caved and bought a big three diesel truck, late model. All so I can haul my camper and tow my motorcycle trailer. It's not red, but it does have stickers, including the requisite "change for a nickel" sticker. Am I off the island?

Yeah, if you’re going to buy an Asian vehicle Nissan should be at the bottom of that list. Sorry Bmills...

The late '90's Maxima was the car of choice for America's worst drivers. Those are, sadly, disappearing. Dodge Charger actually makes sense as a replacement as it can be had cheap with a somewhat powerful engine. And it has the right look for a young prick who gives zero shits about anyone.

I'll bet that thing has a lot of Renault in it. Looks more French than Japanese to me.
