man, the minivan had a run today.

Got a sale rep out in NY use to work with, ex cop, swears by mini vans. He would get the all wheel drive Chryslers and then put turbos on them and put 50-60k year on them, drive till 100k and repeat. Pretty dam fun hauling ass across NY visiting customers. Gets the most boring color (silver or grey) and hauls ass, cops just don't see him.

When I was bumming around in a van for a year I had a buddy that lived in a minivan (I think an early 00s Sienna). He decked it out inside as nice as any E150 I've seen. It was comfortable rig to sleep and hang in, swiveling captain passenger seat made for some good games of cribbage in the rain. He never got bothered by the cops while parked in cities, would just blast big road trips to go skiing for a the week instead of fighting bad weather climbing, and could afford it on <1k a month since he was getting 25-30 MPG on the highway. Dude got laid way more than the rest of us it seemed too. I'd rather have a '02 sienna than a sprinter these days

I think it's cute. Same block, maybe same household, has a Prius with matching statement.
    Hehe, adorbs
I saw a minivan once with a sticker that said “I used to be cool.”

What if you only have a Humvee in the driveway?

Or are you talking triple axel to double lutz type of manliness?

BobMc is rolling over in his garden.

A live axle is something you'd typically see under the back of a school bus or a pickup truck. Essentially it's a solid girder with a pumpkin in the middle. Old school tech.

Ah. Copy. I’m changing my answer to 2 - one in the 4Runner, one in the Bonneville. Funny that something rigid would be called “live.”

I thought it had to do with drive axles.

It's tarped now, bad rust, neglected in the absence of a garage.

I rebuilt the Weber carbs around 1993, that was intricate.
Pulled the trans with a friend who had a shop along Rainier Ave, took it to get new second gear synchro pressed right after that. Guy (British Italian, used to be on Capitol Hill, a ski fiend who moved to Jackass) gave me a discount since I brought it in in the seat of a Datsun 2000 roadster.

A ratbox gocart spicmobile. A gas to drive.

    I think I beached it about 2006.

Right after I got it out of my hipster deadhead buddy's shop, some of the less disciplined folks he knew burned his shop down.
