Not hating on the Pats...but on the broadcast...
If I heard one more " (insert player name) coming off a big Super Bowl..." I was going to murder someone. It makes perfect sense...until you think about it.
I suspect there's logic behind the madness, but I'm too dumb to see it.

Yeah the Pats looked pretty bad last night. They really need some motivation other than having their "best ever"
status pumped by nearly every media outlet. They looked over confident and the defense does not look nearly as good as forecast (good thing I drafted them in my fantasy league ).
On another note, that "catch" that Kelce had on the Chief's scoring drive before halftime touched the ground (ala Gronks called back TD). Since it was inside 2:00, there could be no coach's challenge. KC was smart and went no-huddle and got the next snap off before it could be "reviewed" by the replay official. KC was still able just walking down the field on the Pats, so losing a 14 yard play on 1st and 10 (if the play had been ruled incomplete) may not have mattered in the long run.Aim for the chopping block. If you aim for the wood, you will have nothing. Aim past the wood, aim through the wood.

That was fucking sweet. I'm an Alex Smith fan (fuck Harbaugh), so to see him play that well was awesome. And I hate Brady, so to see him pout was even awesomer. The only downside was I had the Chiefs picked in my pool with max points, but pussed out at the last minute.
Niners will surprise people and win 8 games. Foster wins Defensive Rookie of the Year.

Ahhhh yes, so nice to see the Pats get humiliated. Sadly one game too late, but let's hope for many more this season. Nothing would be nicer to see than a horrible season and Brady having to go out on a losing streak. Should have retired last season.
Fuck the Patsies. Only thing nicer would be to see the Giants win a third with Eli, but I've already resigned myself that's not going top happen.
Oh, and please let's have a shitty Seahack season so those insufferable fans aren't all pumped on themselves (again).

Oh, and imagine of the Chiefs hadn't screwed themselves with all the penalties - the Patsies would have been decimated. Would have been so nice.

Buddy of mine is taking my Mom (HUDGE Niners fan) and I to the Hawks/Niners game on the 17th. First and likely only NFL game I'll ever attend. Ought to be a pretty good time.

I don't know exactly where our seats are, but I've been told they're pretty good. My friend and his wife own a couple restaurants in the SeaTac area (El Borracho) and he definitely wouldn't bother with nosebleeds.

First few weeks of NFL are hard to predict. Not much gets done in pre season anymore.
Doesn't every Super Bowl winner have a letdown to start the next season?

Pats got their ass kicked. Not good when a team has major injuries this early, but I have confidence that they will get this cleaned up. Can't believe that defense allowed 42. Matt Patricia better develop some new schemes.

I'm as far from a Pats fan as one can get but come on. Belichick has proven time and again his ability to adjust and win. That embarrassment will be a blip come mid late season.

Damn the Seahawks are getting seriously screwed by the refs in this game. Touchdown taken away on two bogus calls, Graham getting totally mugged in the endzone, cost them another potential TD...wtf?

I'm a Packers fan who lives in the PNW, so I'm obviously jaded, but I would say they are letting lots of contact go downfield today. Adams got cleaned out on a deep pass at the end of the half with no call. Easily could have been a 50 yard PI call. Lots of holds being let go by Sherman et al. Only diff is that Aikman and Buck have been running their yaps about a couple Seahawks calls

Ejecting a starting player for a punch that clearly didn't happen is awful officiating that impacts the entire game.

Yeah. I have no idea what happened there.

Hawks offense looks anemic. Just like last year, putting the defense right back on the field time after time after time.
