Wow. That's kind of disappointing, although I haven't frequented there too much over the past while. Kind of interesting that they would disappear with over 55,000 registered members. Tough to monetize a board like that (or this).

I actually read that thread (and feel stupider having done it), but it seems like they're blaming Vail (indirectly) for buying the site and more or less shutting it down. At least it wasn't KSL...

Thats a shame it sounds like they are losing the whole history / data. Lots of good info buried in those boards.

It was an interesting night. I had a big glass of bourbon, two computers up and between deleting posts and rebuttles on Powder...it was actually fun. It was a hazing and after an hour or so, it got pretty light hearted and we all actually shared a few laughs.
Epic and TGR complemented each other, TGR is a bar that serves food, Epic was a restaraunt that served drinks. There are more skiers that went to both sites that care to admit. I will say, that while there were barbs thrown back and forth, there was a ton of respect too.Click. Point. Chute.
