Just came from easter brunch buffet at mcmenamins Anderson school. Everybody else was all about the desserts but that shit is all just flour and sugar. The real value is in the meat so I skipped the sugar bombs and ate 10 strips of bacon, a half pound or so of lox and several eggs Benedict,

I don't have any stories yet from today but I've had a few WTF's.

Within the past 24 hours, I almost ran over some kid roller skating down the center of Hwy 98 dressed in black playing a guitar.

On that same trip I saw some Mom jogging down the highway with a baby stroller, not the jogging king of stroller but the little four wheel rattle net found by the side of the road or Kmart.

The kicker tho is my 84 year old Dad just back home from heart valve surgery enlightening me on his story on why he has a mustache after his trip from Mexico in 1969.

Overall its been a pretty good zombie jesus day.

Where were you in such a hurry to get to? Maybe the slow walk out would have been a good opportunity to think about you just saw--and what the death of that soldier meant to his family who never even learned what had happened to him or where he was buried.

BTW--maybe everyone knows this, but those guards do the same thing 24/7/365 whether or not anyone is watching. Out of respect.
    um wut

Did I say any of that? I feel abused? No. It was the dude looking for a fight, not me. Personally I'm very happy that I wasn't in a fight in Arlington Cemetery. At least read the words that have been written before replying to them.

I ended a fantastic day with family and friends with an unbelievable bottle of wine from my Dad's cellar. Celebrated many things, but mostly family and being together, and above all, the man's birthday. Miss him everyday.
