    SOLD: 189 ON3P Steeple 102 (14/15)

$400: skis w/ binders, skins, ski crampons.
Prefer W. Washington local exchange but would consider shipping if no bites after a few days.

These were my volcano/summer skis for a season and a half.
Their condition (and price) reflects that use, though they have not been unduly abused.

Stock tour layup. Bases and edges 7/10. Stock 1 deg base and edge bevel, stock stone pattern.
No core shots, no edge cracks, minor edge pitting and a couple burrs. Photos show the worst of it.
Fresh diamond (medium, 600grit) on edges, fresh wax (Hertel Super Hot Sauce, non-fluoro)... these are ready for snow.
Almost identical tip & tail rocker to 12/13 Billy Goats (photo comparison near bottom).

    Hybrid bindings:

Radical ST toes, Speed Turn heels (10 DIN max), no brakes.
Toe pin height 35.5mm, heel pin height 45mm.
Delta 9.5mm, less than most Dynafit clamps (as sold). See this chart.
Stock Dynafit screws, glued in. Mounted for BSL 306mm, boot center on the line... should be +/- 12mm of adjustment. Now set at 304mm.
    No previous mounts.

    3D printed heel riser/stomp blocks:

These mount to the ski with machine screws threading into inserts.
They are quick to remove if need be, though I've been leaving them on full time as I enjoy a mild lift on the skin track.
I like the improved ski contact with these. They also alleviate stress from the heel piece. I make no claim to release effects and it's buyer's liability if the blocks are used.
Material is ABS/PLA blend. Weight is 34g each w/ screws.
I designed these to match the ramp angle of an ISO 9523 Touring norm sole at 306mm with the current bindings.
They'd be usable over the range of heel adjustment. 3mm hex head.

    Skins:

G3 Alpinist. Trimmed w/ the G3 trim tool (nice fit). Glue 7/10, plush 8/10.

    Ski Cramps:

B&D Classic, 102mm. Couple scratches, 100% functional. Weight 153g each w/ riser blocks.

Thread drift - how do those risers work? It appears that the pin height still lines up with the boot, despite the riser height?

Edit: Ah, I see - in this binding style the pins actually elevate you from the ski and your weight is on the pins, rather than the boot bearing on the ski/binding plate itself. That seems weird. Did you make those yourself?

    Yep, you got it.

I designed the risers on my home CAD system and had a coworker/friend print them.
