Threads I post in disappearing from main "Search" page

Every time I post in a thread that thread disappears from the main "search" page (the one that comes up when you click "new posts"). If I go to the specific forum page the thread is there but not on the main page. What's up?

edit: fuck...this one isn't showing up there either...

once you view them they're no longer included in "new posts" ... until there is a new post/reply in the thread.

Not really. They are there in new posts, just not with the highlight.

I noticed that bumping really old threads, they do not show up in the new posts feed unless someone else bumps them.

Might just be how the server creates the new posts feed

I had this happen as well on my laptop. I'm learning to deal with it.

Or maybe not. It looked like it was working OK for a previous post I made, but not the last one. No big deal to me either way.

This is still happening, and now also seems that if you read a thread and don't post but have posted previously, still disappears. Annoying if you read and click away intending to reply later.

Any idea on how to start a new thread?

I would have started my own thread to ask that question, but I can't find the way to start a new thread.

Hi Tom. Welcome to TGR forums. Hope you enjoy it here. It's customary to ask long-time member Rontele "how to" questions for the forum. Feel free to PM him directly.

You basically have to pad your post count to get to the point where you have enough to start a new thread. I honestly forgot what that exact number is, but most people just bump all the old threads in polyass to get it accomplished.
