Denver going to get it done too. Gruesome broken leg on a Denver player.

Tomorrow we say good bye to The Joe and the end of 25 years of consecutively making the playoffs. Feeling like an octopus out of water.

Some truly uninspired play by the B's tonight with a ton on the line. Caps looked like they were just toying with the Bruins for most of it. Gonna be a short series if the Leafs take care of business tomorrow night and Boston gets stuck playing Washington..
... great Nat'l Championship game made up for the horrible Bs game though! Congrats Pioneers!

Given how historically bad the Avs have been, it was nice to see DU win the champoinship, hobey baker, coach and goalie of the year.

^^^Can't think of much to argue with there. Hoping the Blue Jackets take out the Pens but doubt it. Would rather see the Rangers than the Habs, I'll take the Rangers in 7 but it's more a wish than a prediction. I think the Preds could steal a game. Tough road for the B's, here's hoping they can do something.

Wow did Columbus get screwed. Finished fourth best record in NHL, have to play third best in first round, then likely the best record in the second round (if they make it that far). What a shitty system.

Yep, it sucks balls. I know it's designed to limit the amount of travel and it should also equate to fewer late night games since the first couple rounds are likely to be between teams in the same time zone. Too bad the NHL is f'n retarded and shot that silver lining by scheduling a Hawks-Preds game on Monday at 8:30p local time. Might as well be playing on the west coast. WTF... BRING BACK WHOLE CONFERENCE SEEDING!!!

Was at the Wild game last night. Allen stole that game. Fuck. Had that feeling it was going to take a dirty deflection to beat him. Place went ape shit when Parise scored with 22 seconds left. Oh the highs and lows of playoff hockey. One extreme to the other. I'll be there again Friday night. Go Wild.

Feels like the Hawks have no sense of urgency
