Good article, thanks. But it's weird the way it came up now, it's almost like people disrespect Cleveland.

    Weird.

As an Irishman you should be familiar with this badge of honor that Clevelanders wear.

A's streak into the playoffs and the Rockies streaking into the WS were more exciting. But then again, I like those teams.

I think twins are in. texas had a chance to catch them but they eliminated themselves by going 4-6 in their last 10.

Who do you like for ROY?

I'll take Benintendi (but I would), flashier numbers from elsewhere notwithstanding. His overall level of play is amazing.

It had to end sometime. Great game.

22 wins in a row. The best in the history of the game. That was fun to take in.

Classy move by Moustakas right after the 4-3 Royals win became official: he turned to the Tribe dugout and tipped his hat in appreciation. Just as cool, the entire Indians squad came out of the dugout and faced the fans giving the sellout crowd of 34,000 a long, standing ovation of their own. Just so cool to watch.

    Now, on to October!

I know, I read the interesting article posted a page back about the NY Giants' streak without a loss, maybe it's my own personal qualifier since back then blacks, nevermind latinos, were banned from the game and it's such a different of a game now. Eh, who cares, what a cool thing to see!

I bet your friends still took in a great show despite the outcome. Seeing what they did at the end was awesome!

Impressive and great run... very cool and difficult achievement. Congrats BMS/Cleveland and I hope we see you in the playoffs.

Man what a crazy game for the Sox. Win by 7 runs....... in the 15th. Got back from dinner in the tenth, so missed the comeback.

Pedey had his first career 0-9. I bet he's pissed.

    Still impressive.

Some will be deflated since they did not get the record, nut a lot more; especially in Cleveland will be jazzed for the playoffs.

and another thing it did was most likely give Cleveland the 1 slot for the AL playoffs and a 1st series vs the wild card who isn't likely to be near as good as the bosox or Astros.

Rays were playing some great defense. Especially the center fielder. However their less talented bench players led to two errors in the 15th.
Pedroia had a rough game at the plate. He smoked a line drive in the 11th that would have put the Sox ahead but the shortstop made a great leaping grab.

Aim for the chopping block. If you aim for the wood, you will have nothing. Aim past the wood, aim through the wood.

Ok, but who can? Before injuries caught up with him Freddy was amazing. But I'll take Benintendi over Ellsbury, for example, 9 days a week.

Yeah. Kiermier played out of his mind. That catch in the 9th was one of the best I've seen, then followed it up with the one in the 10th, and that monster HR to tie the game back up in the 14th.
