'New Posts' Doesn't show recent activity
Since the last site maintenance, after posting in a thread, it no longer appears under the 'Recent/New Posts' list as I believe it has consistently in the past.
Anyone else seeing this or are my last few brain cells fried?Best regards, Terry

It's only showing in the Activity Stream for me.

I was wondering if it was my settings, perhaps not.
Now, if i post in a thread and hit 'new posts', that thread doesn't appear until somebody else posts in it.
But if i post and then hit the back button, it's still there.

This is the way it is on another forum I'm on. Your own post doesn't que in new posts until someone else posts. Kinda makes sense actually. I bet it's an checkbox format option.

Yes and no on the making sense. Yes, if there was a quick way to find posts you just made. Inevitably, after submitting there's a second thought to add or edit. Sometimes right away, others much later. If right away, the activity stream is fine.
What's the most efficient way (fewest & direct steps) to find posts you submitted not recently that have not had a response yet? Going via your account is like finding Waldo.
EDIT: Doh! Use the 'Subscribed Thread' or 'Today's Posts' links under Quick Links.Last edited by Alpinord; 03-28-2017 at 06:32 AM.

Haha, I was going to post a thread about this a few days ago, but realized that it was hard to explain and I didn't care that much so I'd just let someone else do it.

This was/is? happening to me too, annoying cause I usually use "new posts" to sort. I thought someone was deleting threads for a bit.
But the threads are still there and on top and can be found if you look in the subforum they were created in.Move upside and let the man go through...

I think the "new posts" section is acting more like the app's "unread" feature instead of just a stream of the newest threads. So once you read a thread it disappears until there is something new there for you.
It also seems like my app reading activity is showing up on the site now when I go to the first unread entry. I like that very much.

I just posted in a thread Binding Freedom Inserts. "Asking a question"
the tread does not show up in my New Posts list. ?
Do others see it on the front page?

Is this the app or web view?
I updated vB to a new minor version on the 23rd, did it start after that?

Web view, I noticed it a few days ago but cannot pinpoint when it started. Probably related to your Mar 23 update.

I was not sure it was my issue or everyone's issue.

What ever you guys did that changed the "new post" view, it stinks. If there is a different method, please share.
