That's just a "best buy" date. Ask any of the newly minted food waste patrol.

I found some bounty in the back of my fridge as well, so I'm in on today's hotdog lottery of death and/or diarrhea. I think I'm going microwave on them though cause that's the kind of lazy hotdogs deserve and I want to make sure there's pictures.

Bad enough for the FDA to have a warning page.
https://www.fsis.usda.gov/wps/wcm/co...df?MOD=AJPERESIn order to properly convert this thread to a polyasshat thread to more fully enrage the liberal left frequenting here...... (insert latest democratic blunder of your choice).

I wouldn't worry about food poisoning, what I would worry about is that you can eat year old meat and not get sick...it's just not natural.
I agree it is a constitutional right for Americans to be assholes...its just too bad that so many take the opportunity...iscariot

Nothing brewing.
Starting to think about dinner.
No grey steaks in the freezer to boil, and it sure isn't an Arby's kind of night.
In the name of science I feel like I should not introduce any more meats into the system to keep the experiment pure, but beef sure is sounding good.I still call it The Jake.

Update:
Dinner consisted of grilled pork chop, roasted sweet potato, and asparagus. Should my hot dog lunch decide it needs a high-velocity exit, it will have company.

I'll gauge the wife's interest after dinner. She's aware I ate a couple nearly year old hot dogs for lunch so I don't think I'm currently being held in the highest regards.
Pork! It's what's for dinner. Pork ribs, roast and sourkraut and a Pilsner Urquell on this end of the table. Like you, if this gets messy, it's gonna be really bad.
Long distance e-high-five! We made it! (Fingers crossed)I still call it The Jake.

No developments, film or otherwise from the microwaved dogs other than a solid food induced nap.
