Coincidentally, I just saw one too here in Bellingham. Two-tone: white with the color of rust. Plus actual rust.

Wait, it's fake wood paneling?

Of course it is a rare sighting, they were such pieces of shot that most of them fell about as soon as they were driven of the lot.
I agree it is a constitutional right for Americans to be assholes...its just too bad that so many take the opportunity...iscariot

roof rack's worth more than the car.
Something about the wrinkle in your forehead tells me there's a fit about to get thrown
And I never hear a single word you say when you tell me not to have my fun
It's the same old shit that I ain't gonna take off anyone.
and I never had a shortage of people tryin' to warn me about the dangers I pose to myself.

Love it. Ground clearance for days. We had one when I was young. Feels like you're driving a tank. Body on frame, they don't make em like that any more.

I also saw a post 2011 GTR recently. You never see those around here. Def qualifies as an awesome car sighting.

I miss my 81 eagle. Those cars are awesome.

Found that pic online. Not my actual whip. Same car though. It had demons.

Nice! My dad had one of those AMCs like that, white with real[istic] wood paneling, 4 door. IIRC, on at least one of the Quadratrac t-cases in those buggers (if they equipped with more than one, ikd), you could lock the center diff and go full 4x4. For a brief period, my family had one of those and a Grand Wagoneer at the same time. My dad traded in the Eagle in for an 8 year old or so '79 diesel merc with 80k and drove it to 240k. 240d I think.

My brother killed one of those things playing on a beach at night, burned something out and it wouldn't move. By the time he hiked out, got help and went back the tide had come in and only the top of the roof was sticking out of the water. I have a pic somewhere.

There was a Eagle wagon like that for sale on Craigslist here last year. It had 45k miles on it and looked new. It was someone's cabin/lake car at their second home in Lake Wenatchee.
