honestly, everyone whining about that has never attempted to overtake another skier to get to the freshies? If that's the truth then you must be technically challenged, or stricken my some disease of weakness.

Now, why you would even bother with some low angle, boot deep mass start is a totally different question. More of a "fastest kid on short bus" scenario, vs survival of the fittest.
I might ski around someone if they hesitate but won't make physical contact or ski over their skis. If someone throws an elbow or shoves me while skiing we've got a problem.

Hey d-bag - here's something for you to think about: maybe (just maybe) not everybody here has their little panties in a wad 24/7 and flies into a rage whenever somebody disagrees with them. Maybe these same mags don't take this place uber-seriously. Maybe this even includes the vast majority of the people who post here as opposed to you and like 20 other thin-skinned douchebags. Just something to think about. -JER

Well, it's no bowl 4. (Meaning it's not a 20minute hike, but twice as long and 10 times as wide.)

    In theory you'd love it.

I've had some sleeper days on Road to Provo with free refills. But those days were not bluebird weekends.

A year ago at xmas we waited for mid had rope to drop. There was 50 of us. We had some great story sharing and as time went on more and more people gave up. Patrol came down after an Hour or so there was only 6 of us left when patrol dropped the rope. We got 2-3 lifts of deep and steep and then farmed sth and the trees.
I need to go to Utah.
    Utah?
Yeah, Utah. It's wedged in between Wyoming and Nevada. You've seen pictures of it, right?

So after 15 years we finally made it to Utah.....

Thanks BCSAR and POWMOW Ski Patrol for rescues

Like I said, it could be fun but not in those circumstances. I'd rather avoid the teeming masses if possible.

I've never waited for a rope drop. It's not really a thing around here. thank goodness. I would probably snake that line though.

Ducking the rope while patrol is blasting doesn't count.

To be fair, it's not like Utah has had a lot of snow this year. But still, yeah, no thanks.
