    Finding my boot centerline

The bottom of my ski boots are trashed so I can't see the centerline mark any more. Is it generally located in the actual center of the boot? i.e. can I measure the length of the boot and divide by two?

A: yeah measure to center should work fine

B: I the center of your boots are that trashed, i would have serious concerns about the state of the boots in the toe and heel, and how that impacts them releasing from skis.

If they're touring boots, the pins can be fine while the center can be trashed enough to not read a CL mark from walking on rock. Even more so if they don't have a full vibram sole, and have plastic in the middle with replaceable rubber in the toe and heel.
