Solid riding and drinking beer with ya'll!

Home and cleaning out the stinky tent-car. I'll post up later today with any of those pics I took that turned out decently.

That ride, and two solid days at Thunder = I'm not doing shit today.

Bummed to miss it, looks like you guys had a blast!! Had some commitments at home that sprung up last minute that interfered with my planned lazy Saturday, was in need of a day off.

Rode Drummer Hill yesterday, those are some rad trails!!

Did someone say spandex? Camel toe sighting on a mtn bike ride?

Missed the early ride due to sleep deprivation after the awesome Trey show, but caught the 2nd shift ride at SHP inda fog. Proceeded to go for a nice dual forearm slide after hitting a greazy mossy rock on one of the fun step down downhills. The last 2 drops are f'd up (it's a hiking trail and it's for erosion) and I don't have a good line, so I took a new one...it wasn't the day to do it.

Got my first live view of the clear cut and its funny how small the area becomes once you can see. Not steep enough for winter sessions unfortunately.

Finished working a new loop Sat which is always so satisfying. Also found that wasp nest and did a reroute around that. It was right on the side of the trail. I think it was just shit luck that nobody had hit it in the past.

Gonna be damp this week...but waves!

^^^No doubt. Woke up this morning with a full blown head cold. Guessing it was the source of my bonk on Saturday. Parking lot indulgences certainly didn't boost my immune system I'm sure (nor did fried-food-a-palooza Saturday night). Oh well, I still feel awesome:

Bummed I missed the fest! Looked awesome.

Anyone racing Killy this weekend? I fell off the training bandwagon, have mostly been surfing, and will be in DC all week for work so I should be in awesome shape.

All I got. Bunch of shots were all blurry/fuzzy.

Mixed with a couple other shots of the weekend.

Friday was a gorgeous day @ Thunder.

A little 20 minute long heavy rain dump had the parking lot emptied out by the time I got down from a Wintree run.

Friday night (parking lot camping) lights.

Then, Sat morning on the drive up the STAB, I passed what appeared to be a Corvair convention/gathering. Very cool. Must have been 30-40 of them at least. Stupidly, I didn't stop and take and pics.

    All that turned out decently.

My car camping game is weak.

Still turn out a decent chicken tika masala mac-n-cheese though.

Sunday morning was hazy, in multiple ways.

Gonna be driving back from Philly on Sunday. Pretty much a straight shot up 95. Any thoughts on where to get a couple hour ride in along the way back to Maine? Considered Nassahegon in CT as I had a blast there last time although I am up for suggestions.

If you like a little tech we have it right of 95 here. Fort Rock and another off the grid spot. Then there is SHP for an easier with little more climbing. Not much vert anywhere though.

So GL, when you getting back up here!?

And MSA, depending on when you hit this area, if you wanted, I could possibly take you for a tour. That's actually open to anybody headed to the NH coast.

What he said. It's fairly well mapped/marked, so not too terrible to navigate without a guide. Maps online, able to be downloaded, take a picture, etc.

Trumbull CT - Indian Ledge - about 10 min off 95. Would love to show you around but looks like I'm going to be in VT. Nice 8-10 mile medium tech single track with a number of big rollers and legit free-ride jumps sprinkled in. I'm not a hucker and am always impressed to see braver souls hit the jumps.

    Rockland also a good call.

I followed the 15 mile route from Mtbproject this summer and had no issues. Fun place and super easy access.
