By the end of next week you'll have plenty of snow to play in. Time to pull the fatties out

Just did an urban hot lap on mine to get sum beers. It's pretty perfect in town right now.

Four inches of snow is the ideal amount for quality Fat Bike sessions. Today was perfect.

Good time in the backyard on 2" of new snow. Challenging rocky, rooty climbing with some water ice thrown in for sport. Biggest hassle was clogged SPD when I had to bail off after a spin out. Nice to be out in the snow covered forest even though it was thin. Maybe my last ride this season in VT?
Back to hot lapping the hill tomorrow.

Fresh yesterday. 2" at start , 4" at end. Not as much as you northern folk, but we manage.

    Hey NE Riders!
I am looking for riding/rental advice for the Dartmouth area next June (going to a reunion). Love a bit o' rocks and roots, but any decent riding would be fine. Anyone know where I could get a good demo?
Maybe a shoutout to ride with y'all?

Great demo bikes at Claremont Cycle Depot, little south of Hangover.
After grabbing a bike there, head straight for Ascutney.

True that, but they always have high end demos for cheap.

That would work if they have the right size/model.
    I haven't ridden a Trek in 20 years...
Is there a discussion on here about Ascutney trails?
    What can I expect?

Umm, the best trail riding in New England, is what you should expect.
The master builder is a Dartmouth '70 grad. He still gets after it.

Ascutney if you've got a bit of drive-time flex, Boston Lot if not. You're welcome to take one of my rides for the time, if we manage to meet up.

Locals will chime in with more/better. Ignore half of what Buttah says.

Un-bunch your panties. I'm fucking with you. A little.

I've actually ridden with W a couple times. I may have more a bit of feel for what he is after bike-ride-wise than you.

I like the tech...but I can't generally ride it as well as you!
Thanks for the offer, you rule.

Lemme' know when/where coming in, and I can see about getting time to ride, or at least maybe getting you a bike. June could be dicey, depending on what the rest of the winter does/your willingness to be on a fat-bike.
