Disinfecting gear for fishing in Iceland?
Does anyone have any idea how I get my gear certifiably disinfected so that I can use it in Iceland?
Websites recommend veterinarians. I just got off the phone with three different vets who had never heard of such things. Any help is appreciated."You can't drink all day if you don't start in the morning".

Might be easier to just buy a new pair of boots.

That's what I am beginning to think. The ambiguity of everything is ridiculous

Sounds like customs will do it for you? We use a bleach solution soak for our gear when moving between places.

Vet clinics would use chlorhexidine to disinfect. You can get it most places.

But yeah, prolly easier to get new boots to avoid any bullshit headache in customs.
