The tin hat, PAC inn, and McClouds come to mind

If it's a nice day take light rail to the Capitol Hill station then walk up Broadway a few block and then east a couple over to Volunteer Park. The park is nice, also Bruce Lee's grave is in the cemetery immediately to the north of the park.

Walk on the ferry and take it over to Bainbridge Island.

I'm sure you've already read this, but the classic Seattle photo op is the Space Needle and Seattle skyline (and Mt Rainier, if you're lucky) from Kerry Park on Queen Anne hill.

In grad school I used to run around Lake Union at lunch. At least 10 times on the North end of the lake where the road is close to the Burke Gilman (the Ducks go in the water off the N. end past gasworks) a goddamn Ride the Duck would slow down along side me and play the theme from Rocky.
Move upside and let the man go through...

When my dad was visiting a few years back he mentioned that the Ducks were among the few Seattle tourist traps he hadn't yet done.

    I forbade him.

If I get talked into that tour I will take it upon myself to take the honorable way out seppuku style.
