I picked up a set of those cuz they were so cheap and the reality is a 135 mm underfoot ski or at least that^^ one is a fucking heavy ski

and IME 120mm underfoot is probably enough most of the time at least where i ski

I have a cambered 2x12 that I could rip in half. Should clock in at just over 135mm if I did the math right in my head.

I find mine to be pretty soft. I'm actually grabbing some Blizzard Spurs, I've got a set of Cham 127s with Solly 997s I'd sell for pretty cheap if you want to give a shot.

    huh. Shows what I know...

What don't you like about them? I've always found dynastars to be mediocre powder skis, they lack the float.

I'm 215 so that might skew my opinion.

Want a longer radius and stiffer. The Cham 127 floats.

I probably hit mid 50s on wind buff and groomers and never felt like I came close to pushing the ski. The 188 is the longest 188 ive ever skied. Volkl Shiro 193s feel like less ski.
My 193 and 203 Shiros feel like less ski then my 194 MX 98s haha. Shiros are a blast in 3D snow, but almost 20mm narrower then you are looking for.

Pretty much. Perfect for me would be 190cm length and some mellow early rise tip.

What ski? 130-135mm underfoot and traditional shape...

Fatuous Alotta has all the design characteristics your asking for, they are just wider then you want...190 is 140 underfoot. Traditional camber/sidecut with early rise tip.

Z, I could build that no problem. It would take 2 pressings though as that full pair would not fit in my press in one shot. If you are interested PM or click the link in my signature to get in touch.

Yeah, Utah. It's wedged in between Wyoming and Nevada. You've seen pictures of it, right?

So after 15 years we finally made it to Utah.....

Nonsense and shenanigans. I skied 136 under foot last night while teaching kids to parallel ski. On a green run switch.

So I just like fat skis, and you can't change my mind.

Obviously, I'm way off base. I don't know what I've been thinking all these years. Maybe I need an intervention.

One of the first pair I ever built was 122 under foot and something like 142 at the tip with like 45 cm tip rocker a coupe mm of camber and a generous tail rocker. They crushed in pow, crud, mank, crust, and corn. Come to think of it in may need to remount those.....
