Anyone ever put white tape on their touring skis?

Anyone out there put white duct tape on the top sheets of their touring skis in an effort to reduce/eliminate the amount of snow that globs onto them while skinning?
    - Or just spray paint your skis white?

Did it stick? Did it work?

    Worth it?

Yeah, Dawson praises the BD white top sheet skis because they don't warm up as much-hence less or no snow build up on the top sheets...

Duct tape is heavy try vinyl.
a positive attitude will not solve all of your problems, but it may annoy enough people to make it worth the effort

Zardoz Notwax is about the best for resisting buildup, but yeah dark topsheets suck on touring skis. Wonder how many sales G3 lost by having black topsheets for so many years in a row.

We've had luck with Rain-X but (a) it depends on the exact composition of your top sheet (i.e. It doesn't work on all skis); and (b) you have to reapply every few days.
