Bro its like 4th tier without NHLers... Has beens and prospects. but I guess you get a more "competitive" tournament where anybody could win. resulting in fucking GERMANY beating Canada to get to the gold medal game. If we had NHLers, Canada would spank Germany 100 times out of 100. Better tournament that way? I don't think so but apparently a lot of others do

    Medals or medals per capita?

Abe, nice work getting back to the real gist of the matter. We pronounce it (phoenitically) - dzork.

And dude, I think I ate my body weight in dzork at the feed 🍅

Well, bronze. Better then a hole in the head. In a few years, when all is said and done, it'll be considered a good result for Canadian Olympic hockey. Go Germany!

Apparently we Canadians don't like to walk in cold weather. Skicross Athlete, his wife, and manager got busted in a car they stole from the front of the bar they'd been in. Shitfaced, and trying to get back to the Village. Claimed they were cold. Probably from Whistler.

    2018 Winter Olympics Thread

Ohh well, We’ll take the bronze I guess. Where was that finish Wednesday? Go Chermany.

Looks like Duncan went full Lochte on these olympics. He and Willy were up for the races a couple years ago. They, and the entire team - Serwa, Lehman all of them were amazing. Took time to meet all the kids from the ski club. They were all positive about our little hill in our little town.

I was a volunteer - I couldn’t believe that Olympic and XGames gold medalists were coming up and saying thanks for volunteering.

But I hear it was a red hummer - it matched the outfits so I could see confusing it with the team car.

    Sorry eh!

The "manager" / skicross director is Nancy Greene's son! That's 1968 olympic gold medalist/ current Canadian Senator Greene now. Ha! Awesome.

Red Hummer left running in front of a bar? That’s just begging to be stolen.

Indeed. So the drunk driver of the stolen vehicle is Willy Raine. His mom, Nancy Greene Raine (Rosslander), won gold in the GS and silver in the slalom in 1968, was named Canadian female athlete of that century, and is now a member of the Senate. Go Canada! hahahaha!!!!

Why is borrowing a car while inebriated a crime?

Let's not let one little misunderstanding spoil all good things Canadians are doing at PF Chang's Olympics

So true Kenny! I mean shit, who HASN'T come out of the bar more than a little faced, stolen the first available vehicle and then mosied on home... awaking the next morning with a very blurry memory of somehow making it home, miraculously in some cases hehe.....

Absolute mountain out of a molehill here. I give it one press cycle and all will be forgotten.....

    maybe...

In Terrace, this is a nightly occurrence, I'm sure. Hell, I bet half the cops in town have done it, all doped up on donut sugar and double doubles.

How are the entire women's hockey team supposed to be flag bearers? I'd let MS have at it instead.
