Odd the lack of fans at every venue. Politics and logisitics I suppose. Bloomberg radio said city of Pyeongchang will likely declare bankruptcy. The sled tracks look temporary.

After so many decades of having at least one contender it's just odd to not have one in this Olympics.

Team USA looking tired in hockey.

I read an article saying S Korea will likely be $12 billion in the hole when it's all done.

And Denver and the hick want to go for another Olympic bid. Idjiots.

PyongChang is basically in the ass end of nowhere. Denver Olympics would do much better. SLC was fine.

Ya it seems like they don’t cover much. Even on the Comcast on demand there’s hardly content just a bunch of visa commercials

Del Bosco has to apply himself like he used to on bridge street. Tanner wouldn't have stood a chance.

Just came home (from playing hockey) and watched the Czech/USA OT and shootout. Less than half the seats in that arena had somebody in them. Jesus Christ. Embarrassing. And sucks for those athletes.

Its what I was bitching about two months ago. With NHL players, the Olympic hockey tournament is epic. Its like a fucking all star game, of the best players in the world, playing for the pride of their home country, every night of the Olympics. For true hockey fans, it was awesome. Seats filled up, games were awesome to watch. Like I said, NHL all-star caliber games. Just lights out mind boggling great hockey.
WITHOUT NHLers, its a low grade, college/jr hockey tournament. Decent enough play, but not quite NHL level. and nowhere. fucking. near. NHL all star level. Its fucking depressing, it went from probably the best hockey tournament in the world, to meh- who really cares. seats are 30% sold. maybe. I think true hockey fans would agree with me - I honestly have no idea how you could see it any other way. (you LIKE sub par hockey? really??? you're not a fan of crisp passing, beautiful setups, mind blowing stick handling, mind blowing hand eye coordination and absolutely sniped shots? you'd prefer a well played college game with mediocre play?? SERIOUSLY. no you don't. youd rather watch NHLers. be honest)

Man, it would be incredible if Ledecka can bring home the gold in skiing and snowboarding.
