Sochi had housing problem, Rio had building problems (both had much more); is this 1st in 3 attempts to go off without venue problems? Or, is that being hidden from us because South Korea is a good ally (had to google the spelling of singular allies).

So unsurprisingly NBC's website is garbage when it comes to trying to figure out when events you want to watch are on.

They have a nice grid view to see what events are on a certain day with descriptions. However when you go to "TV Listings" by sport it just tells you what day a type of event is on, no details about mens/womens/specific event or even what channel its on - and no, you can't click through from that screen to specific TV listings for it.

You have to slog through the daily scroll of full NBC family of channel listings to see exactly when a particular event is on. And it's still not straightforward since you have to click on the time block to see what it is (prelims/medal round/etc)

Anyone know of a clean, easy to use TV schedule for us in the land of the free?

South Korea is a substantially better-run and wealthier country than either Russia or Brazil.

IME For any sport listed on NBC proper, watching will suck balls. I searched by sport to see what was showing on the "other" NBC channels. They will still suck more that my Canadian feed.

This view sort of gets you there http://www.nbcolympics.com/tv-listings?day=0#end-of-day
And this one from CBS, breaks down each day on NBC (go figure) https://www.cbssports.com/olympics/n...s-live-stream/

    Thanks man.

The NBC link is half of my complaint, and damned if you're not right that CBS gets it right with your second link.

What's so hard about saying what event will be on what channel at what time?

    Fucking millenials, I'm sure.

    Live prelims moguls are rad.

Such a talent gap from CAN-USA-AUS to some of the other countries among the ladies. I’m positive I could ski this course better than a couple of the also-rans. I’m also positive that I’d get smoked like a roach by the top 500 women from the aforementioned teams. Who gives a shit, I’m watching bumps on tv!

I already hate the commentators. Totally talked over a competitors routine (talked about other countries without commenting on the country that was currently competing. It was like the people who carry on a convo in a movie house while the movie is running).

I've long since been used to Jonny Mosely, in fact I actually like him.

Now I do miss Letterman's Mom.

    ETA:

Men's prelims starting now on NBCSN.

Have to say it's super fucking lame that NBC uses Jonny and Trace as voiceover 'commentators' for the edited delay on NBC (~30mins later than live) and some other unknown dudes do the NBCSN play by play (completely adequately though).

Mikael Kingsbury is an alien. I'm convinced.

Got to visit a couple of years ago. Those mountains only average 100" a year or so. But, unlike Sochi, the temps are better and if anything, the snow should be great for racing in particular.

    They fly. Men and women.

Love that I've already heard 4 Edgar Grospiron references. Bonus points to anyone not a bump dork who knows that name. Shit, he designed my Solly SF9 3S' gathering dust in the garage.

Plenty of room for off-season mogul storage there.
