Defective materials and workmanship are expressly not warrantied, per their website, so this whole thread makes sense now

Curious, does RMU make their own skis or do they subcontract manufacturing?

Based on the two sheets of RMU graphics that were used for packing material in a pair of skis I purchased from a different ski company I would say they are being made in the U.S.

7 months ago it was Utopie: https://www.newschoolers.com/news/read/Where-Skis-Whom
But I think they also do a thing where you can drink beer and "design" your ski in house and lay it up there.

Neversummer for a long time, then Utopie, I believe back to neversummer again, but not 100%.

Personally not a RMU guy myself but that new WLY pro model looks super dialed, would love to see their quality/construction back up the design

Massively disappointing??? I dunno, they have a cool, back patio and a great selection of draft beers.

Local shop owner said they are now being made by Blizzard and are a remarkably improved product. He is even bringing some in after having ditched the line a few tears back. I’ll let others be the judge of their improved quality.

Rocky Mountain Underground is massively dissapointing.
What?!?!? RMU is teamed up with Blizzard?!? Tell more.
Edit. Googled that shit. So they moved production to their factory but aren’t collabing... that being said if RMU made a run of RMU branded gunsmokes I’d buy 3 pairs.

The issue in this thread wasn’t that their skis were shit (their skis might be shit but that wasn’t the issue)
The issue was that upper management was shit.
I’ve seen nothing to indicate any change there

Talk about holding a grudge for a pair of free skis. Let it go man, you'll be happier without that baggage.
