DPS is just like the Soul 7 - you'll see a lot of mediocre skiers on them but also some really good ones.
I ski 135 degree chutes switch to the road.

The indie wave have crested and the quality purveyors are distancing themselves from the ramrods.

Their QA wasn't very good. The skis were turny but not terribly exciting. They were a solid meh in my opinion

I have measured many skis at 1mm concave, volkles, fatypuss, lots of brands. They can be ground FLATTER by someone who knows what they are doin but most likely the hookiness is from a combination of the geometry of the shape and the rocker/camber/contact point combo. I saw some pretty rough skis by them at sia from the quebec shop, but some looked really good.

Those bases looked fucking terrible to me but in a meter of blower everything skied pretty good!

In any case I hadn't seen that review and I wasn't gona out ya

I wonder why people wana buy hand made skis when you can get something made better by a machine?

I actualy skied with that RMU rep out at Hankin as part of a media group from whistler after which Vince wrote the piece in The Peak

Indie ski companies are SUPPOSED to be about quality and customer service. If the OP's story about RMU is true (that's IF) then that's disappointing.
