I am guessing the coat and gloves aren't for sun protection?

No thanks. I'll stick to my fair weather wimpy ways.

I don’t get it. My hands just got soggy inside the gloves when I’ve tried it. Then they rip and fall apart.

    Please explain.

There are many other things I don’t get, so this isn’t really setting my lifestyle back, yet.

By fishing, I meant drinking on the boat with fishing gear present.

In a lot more ways than just fishing.

Last shindig for the year. 13 dudes in the marsh. The weather sucked bad and the weather was glorious. They made fun of my goggles, then were jealous of them. Good food and drink were ample. There was a trip to the ER. The fish were cold and tough to feed, but we brought lots of them over the rails.

Nice work Roos, sucks about the weather. Trust me if there is one thing I know about its flying across the country for shitty weather. And in my book flailing doesn’t end with catching. Lets fish this spring, I will demonstrate proper flail technique.

My 8yo has been fishing for a couple of years now, but this summer he really got 'hooked' and has started to become a degenerate jetty rat like his old man.

Scooter loaded up with rods & tackle and the boy has the bluefish billyclub at the ready:

Some random catches that I caught on camera (I suck at remembering to take pics)

    Searobin (aka baitstealer):

    His favorite snackfish, snapper blues:

    Jack Crevalle:

    Spanish Mackrel:

    Tiny striped bass

I prefer cast netting. Get the work done and go home. Just watch out for the bears.

Damn it’s been way too long since I’ve touched a fish. Crazy few months. Here’s a few from fall.

some great stuff to round out 2017!

Well, hasn't anybody caught a fish in 2018? Thought there'd be a thread before Feb anyway. I got out over the weekend but got skunked. I might have got one or two earlier in Jan but no pics. have fun!
