I had a pair of those as well. It was mind bending.

Loved those Merlin V's. I still have 2-3 pair sitting in my garage. I'm guessing the batteries are all dead by now though

Favorite ski ? The last one, actualy. So much progress through the years.

Maybe the first Scott Mission. A wide ski with a short radius and a early rise tip. So much fun then.
Bindings : Anything from Look that looks like a dildo. When I was a teenager, I thought the turntable was so cool.
Boots : The last ones, because bootfitting beats rear-entry and air system...

The setup that introduced me to credit card debt in college. Useful for making the East Coast Kessel run in under 12 parsecs.

Still looking for my favorite boot.

Dunno about skis/clamps but my green TLT6Ps are more comfortable and walk better and ski basically as good as or better than anything I've ever owned or demoed.

    Rossi Scratch Brigades.

Def the most fun ski I have ever owned. They are now a backup AT ski setup for the NS local romps in Van.
So many days on them over the years and still ski great.

Loved that set up but not because it was all that rad. More the memories of days on those skis. A couple of BC hut trips, GTNP, Mt Superior, Granite canyon, Mt Katahdin. Good times. Got so that I hated the freerides but they weren't bad when the were new and tight. Would have been an awesome ski with a dynafit binding as they were wicked light for the size.
