Where to buy AT boots in Cow town?

My son has skied but he is a long time snow boarder, he wants to come back to the dark side for touring, I was suggesting he try the Maestrale RS so he drops by MEC where some guy tried to talk him out of skis and into split boarding so he didn't even get to try any boots on

so where do you go for AT boots in Calgary?

I have a pair of Tecnica Agent BC120s in a 25.5 that I'm not longer using.

A few of the guys at Ski West know what they are talking about, but they would be Lange, Scott, Tecnica, Fischer specific I think for Touring. MEC is still the best selection, and Lou can be good if he likes you or he can be a bit of a dingus I have heard.

yeah I told Junior to try MEC so they might have the best selection but the guy at MEC told him to forget his AT aspirations and just get a split board ... which is why I am asking where to find AT boots in cow town

Gah, splitboard in AT boots. It's a superior experience. It also does nothing to help this thread.

and he has really really good logic

was smart enough to put himself thru 5 years of uni with no student debt

smart enough to wana ski instead of split board

So I put junior on to some used Rossi soul 7''s/radicals/skins from the MEC gear swap not a smoking deal but the right gear for an ok price

he tried a few boots in the 50/50 touring/front country category and got new Zero G guides pro's from Lou's @ 749 $ which seems like a pretty good price and we did it all in a couple weeks with face book messages
