Cable TV Question For The Old Guys
I swear there used to be a pay cable movie channel called Cinevue or Cineview. I thought it was just the predecessor of Cinemax, but that doesn't seem to be the case. HBO created Cinemax in 1980 and I can't find any record that it was called anything other than Cinemax (Skin-a-max not withstanding). In any event this would have been in the late '70s probably. Does anyone remember this? I can't find anything about it on the internet, so I'm doubting my memory now.

Back in the '80's ESPN used to be so desperate for programming they played all kinds of wack motorsports, like swamp buggies and whatnot, and also a ton of Aussie Rules football. I got to be a pretty big Aussie fan and then they just quit showing it.
