Best "corduroy" in NorthEast?
I want to try and do some nice groomer skiing this winter. I like em steep and fresh and FAST. Anywhere that regrooms midway through the day?
Also would like to take some lessons. Looking to get more aggressive.
Also what exercises should I be doing to get ready?

Hi deepsouthmafia! May I suggest that you cut loose on the perfect corduroy at www.killington.com - home of the best groomed slopes as well as the gnarliest snowriding in the USA? I would proffer that all things considered, is is the clear choice. The groomers are absolute perfection. Also, the culture is superior, the history is rich and the "Norman Rockwell" factor is prevalent everywhere you turn. The terrain is truly fabulous, the partying is unmatched anywhere(can you say "hot New Jersey Italian babes?") the snow and weather are underrated If you can shred here, you can shred ANYWHERE. When you score your first Killington powder day in "Anarchy", "The Throne", "Chop Chop" or "Patsy", you will be grinning from ear to ear, I promise you!. You will also find that the clientele(as well as your co-workers) will tend to be more educated and well-rounded, not your typical one-dimensional western ski jocks.
I would also like to take this opportunity to formally invite you (as well as all TGR Maggots , NewSchoolers, Epicureans, jongs and lurkers alike) to come join our fun-loving but responsible bunch of snowriding aficionados at http://forums.alpinezone.com/. I think most all of you will find that our seasoned moderators "keep the bar high" by maintaining a sense of order and decorum, while encouraging quality discussion about our favorite pastime. I can assure you that "newbies"'(jongs) are welcomed with open arms by our entire community(unlike here at TGR), and there is no "hazing period" or rudeness tolerated. We also have superior bandwidth and response times on our 502g superfibre network as well as a state-of-the-art virtual blade server farm with 5000 terabytes of virtual disk space for your photos, blogs etc. It may take a small amount of getting used to, as we do have reasonable standards as far as language and image posting that are strictly enforced. The registration is easy and painless, and the rules will be explained in detail during the process. I will warn you however up front that registering an ALIAS is strictly "VERBOTEN", and something we have zero-tolerance with. If you are tired of the juvenile goings-on at TGR and Newschoolers and yearn for a snowriding forum that matches your maturity level, all I can say is: "Come join the fun"!

I've actually been a member at the Zone for a few years, true story. That place is lame, though.
I like it here with the big dogs much better

Old Navy. AlpineZone approved!
"Summary
It’s a powder day for many mountains in central and northern Colorado as 4-11 inches of new snow fell on Thursday night. A few more inches will fall on Friday morning, then we’ll see a break in the snow from Friday afternoon through Saturday afternoon. The next wave of heavier snow will fall on Saturday night through midday Sunday bringing 6-18 inches (Sunday should be a powder day). Snow could then fall each day next week and through the weekend of December 17-18.'

Am I alone in my enjoyment of seeing the first AlpineZone invite in quite a while?

As already mentioned, I already am a member at AlpineZone. That place is straight up dorky though. What do they call themselves, barking bears or something?? WTF?
Anyways, some great suggestions in here so far. I knew I could count on the Mags to steer me in the right direction.

Is Maurice The Pants Man still open in Worcester? I would go in there sometimes in college and get some good deal on Corduroys. Probably the best corduroys in the Northeast. Pretty sure they folded and/or ironed them mid day too

Are you really in the mafia?
I would make a recommendation except I don't want any more crankster gangsters gooning up my local.
