Finished reading it on Wednesday. I wasn't entirely sold as I got midway into the book, but Robert crafted a great narrative weaving his experience and Doug's life together. Solid read and highly recommended for the TGR crowd!

Read it. Loved the history, disliked how the author put himself into the narrative. Very much disliked the how's and why's of trying to figure out how he died. It didn't need to feel like a docu-drama regarding the fall.

I was disappointed in the book. Not enough stories about climbing and skiing in the Tetons and other places. For as many photos that were ever taken of Doug, you would think the book would have a ton of photos. At least I would have had a bunch of photos in it if I had published it. Its another case of its better than nothing.
