Will someone please tell me how to feel about the Skico/KSL acquisition of Intrawest?

Well, you should start by worrying. That's clearly the best path. No one is asking the important questions like. What does this mean for gay ski week, and will this finally allow SkiCo to build a lift to the top of Highlands.

Roaring Fork Valley Stoke Thread 16-17 edition
Anyone been past the platform on Smuggler?
I might need to go for early morning ride since the buckets open till 6 Friday.
Anyone want to take a run, I'll be skiing all weekend, mostly with Hanle.
Or send a Pm.

My better half hiked Smuggler yesterday after work and said it was bone dry up there.

Yeah, I figured the road would be. Curious about the trails in the trees.

Anyone know where I can park a vehicle in Carbondale for a few days? CDOT and RFTA websites are both a little vague on whether or not overnight parking is allowed at the park & ride lot.

You should be in at the Red Hill parking lot. My buddy recently left his car overnight for a hut trip there.

Anybody know of any rooms opening up in Aspen/Basalt/Carbondale soon? Looking for my best bud from college who's living in Aspen. If it's a roommate situation, preferably older (30+) and not crazy partiers as he'll be in nursing school school. Thanks all! PMs would be great.

Ajax Express is turning 10-2.
Anyone ever been to the Snowmass Bike Demo?
Debating between skiing this weekend or biking the demo.
I'm changing my bike quiver and there are a bunch of bikes at the demo, that I would like to try, that wouldn't be available for demo in town.
