got to watch ecuador's best female golfer -- daniela darquea -- practice the other day (to the right in the crappy pic). i thought about asking her if she would mind signing a ball for the boy, but didn't want to interrupt her practice and she was gone by the time i got back.
first from ecuador to win a tourney.

not that i can't see hideki losing, but seeing him climbing the leaderboard yesterday, i definitely think he's going to be hard to beat.
i start scoring duties at the final web.com stop in pdx in less than 2 weeks. can't wait. no lugging the standard around for 5 hours in 95 degree heat AND a new, non-brutally painful knee. should be a lot more fun and it was a ton of fun last year.

Weather gives Kisner a slight edge being a local. He's used to the humidity.

Kisner will set a new distance record for club tossing when he implodes on back nine tomorrow

Hot, humid and crowded.
But at least it's not raining.
Justin Rose gets corrected just like us.
Trouble at 9th Hole.

NMC, you gonna be there tomorrow? Tight field. Should be plenty of drama. Day was a wreck on 18...ouch.
