I'm interested in the wateas. Did you not like the way they ski or unloading for another reason? I'm looking for a resort daily driver. Would these work for that? Any description on how they ski would be helpful.

Also, any idea if I would have trouble mounting Look PX 12 for a 306 BSL? Seems like I might since that's the BSL you had them mounted for.

Wateas are a nice DD ski. Beefier than the Soul7s you were looking for. Very nice on groomed, light enough to throw around, stiff enough to handle some chop. Not a noodle, not a charger. Less forgiving than something with tail rocker in bumps/trees but not difficult to ski.

I would agree with this assessment. They are a little short for me even with the straight tail. Im mainly getting rid of them because they are a bit too heavy for what I use them for (long tours on MTW). I think they would make a good quiver of 1. They have no glaring weaknesses.

What size is that arc shell? Gore pro? Pow Skirt? Model? Winning lotto numbers?
I need to go to Utah.
    Utah?
Yeah, Utah. It's wedged in between Wyoming and Nevada. You've seen pictures of it, right?

So after 15 years we finally made it to Utah.....

Thanks BCSAR and POWMOW Ski Patrol for rescues

What do you mean by spinner on the guardians?

The pin on the toes has a spinner. It needs to be epoxied in place. They put a metal receiver in a plastic housing. It will go on fine but it spins when you try to take it off.

Got a pic? I'm not following where the pin is on the guardians it's not a tech binding iirc.

    Its a wierd setup.

The binding attaches to that pin in the photo. The pin attaches the toe of the binding to the ski. Due to the mount point of the toe and 2 front screws the pin has to be removed to take the bindings off. The metal receptor in the photo spins in the plastic bracket. Ie the spinner.
