Promising??? Looks like full on nukage like we haven't seen in years if Howard's Monday am report is to be trusted. Guy is saying the top could get 10' to 15' feet by next Monday/Tuesday
I was going to go up Thursday thru Sunday, but I may sit this one out until next week.

Sitting it out, not paying $75 to sit in the truck for days waiting for something more than the ticket-burning bunny slope to open. Friday might be good though.

Snow level is just about down to Bishop and it looks like town and the mountain have already received a lot of snow.
90mph+ gusts at top of chair 1 right now.

Everything up top is on hold/not spinning. But it's still nuking from what I can see. Sunday is the scary day though, freezing levels dropping to 10k according to Howard but cooling off into Monday.....might head up Monday and pray for no crust....

Yeah, good thing you guys are sitting it out
Today was pretty darn fun. deeep. A bit heavier than ideal, but lapping face of 5 via 10 w/ mini Comish untracked every run was pretty dang cool. The little 8 yr old bugger can now completely hang everywhere, even in the pow. He doesn't appreciate the long slog traverses, but did tell Mom Comish half way on one that while he didn't like it, he knew it would be worth it!He who has the most fun wins!

I would sit out this weekend with snow levels 8500 or more on Saturday and 9500 - 10, 000 in Sunday. Fuck I hate rain in Mammoth... maybe I will head to LA.. that sounds worse then rain. ughh
For now I got 30 new here at 8200 feet, seems to be getting thicker by the hour.
Love the 24 inches of qpf for main over the next 10 days.

Sounds like some potentially dangerous conditions. Stay safe out there.
