Happy turkey day from Idaho. I give thanks for the snow that has been falling the last two days, and now the sun is out, and skating with my family.

I took the easy way out this year. Went with the projection lights instead of the old school red, green, orange, blue and white lights strung all around the edges of our roof, windows, and front door. I am going to throw some solar powered lights on the Forester around the ski box for laughs.. after picking up the tree.

On the gondi today, yakking with a couple of snowboarders, topic turned to Thanksgiving dinner plans. When it was his turn to share, guy #2 hesitates a bit. ‘Well it’s a bit odd but here’s the deal. Bunch of friends are in town and have convinced me to join them in a Swngers Thanksgiving.’

I was gearing up to drop some jokes (who’ll be stuffing the turkey etc) but by then we were disembarking.

So I guess this is a thing? Any mags want to share their experiences?
