    Post HBO - Empire Falls

I caught it the other night due to the fact that fuckwad networks didn't carry the Pistons-Heat game.

Not bad, not bad at all. Sooo many tangents the story could have taken.

The dog yelping in the dark during the shot of "grandma's house" nearly made me cry -- talk about a foreshadowing.

^^ I highly recommend the book the movie was based on. Many of those tangents are explored in greater depth.
Charlie, here comes the deuce. And when you speak of me, speak well.

Havn't seen it but I'll keep an eye out.
    Have you seen entourage?
    I like it.
    No cable over there 13?
    You didn't miss much.
TNT has probably the worst coverage of the games.
    TNT sucks hard.

    Who's the book by?

    A-wreck,

Entourage is probably my favorite show ever. If I could live like that in Hollywood I'd do it in a heartbeat.

We have basic basic cable for $10/mo. but somehow HBO & Skinemax some in. Am I about to call Comcast and have them find out we're getting 2 premium channels at no charge? I think not.

Sheeeit. You too. We have 2 tv's in my house with the whole digital box thing and we don't get skinemax on those. But we have two tv's with just basic cable on them and skinemax comes in loud and clear. This must be some universal detroit area glich. Before we got HBO it came in on the two basic tv's too.

Richard Russo is the author. He's from Maine, but he doesn't write bestselling horrors.
