I rock the White on Black sometimes, but love the White/White, and ALWAYS mid calf, and within the UCI definition of "may not rise above the height defined by half the distance between the middle of the lateral malleolus and the middle of the fibula head"
Oh ya, and the white have to stay white!

You will have to explain your sock choices as well.

And THIS is what Kevin Hart gets horribly, horribly wrong.

I have white shoes and in the past few years have been dabbling with blue, grey and black SOLIDS socks as my go to. Trended away from white.

Do any of these sock rules even apply if one has hairy legs? It seems like step one would be to get rid of that mess.

I’m for blue, but preferably paired w blue or black socks. Then again sometimes have to ignore the Velominati rules bc bikes are supposed to be fun.

That’s on my specifically built, indoor trainer only, Di2 equipped Specialized.
I have 9100 and 9000 on my other 2 outdoor bikes. I didn’t have a 3rd pair of DA pedals for indoor only use.
    Is that flexy enough? 🤜

Wow well done! Both on the new bike and the almost 3 laps up the Alp. You definitely earned that ride.

The swing weight on those 105 pedals is costing you big watts. Or maybe it’s for training and then you switch to DA pedals for our Tues/Thurs meetups...

The dumbass in me figured I’d go for stage 2
Of the haute route tonight. Jeezus. 2:50”. I’d be faster with dees pedals for train with. 🙄

But a question: why do the elevations differ than the advertised. Ie stage 1 was advertised as 800m but ended up being 897m and stage 2 was advertised at 1300m but was 1257. Not like they don’t know their fricken course details...

It’s because your socks were the wrong color. Threw off the algorithm.

I need more of this thread, and to stay away from those "other" threads.
I should have done a 2:50" ride today, it would have been way more productive.

Seriously. Once up that thing in one day is too much. Twice is silly. 2+ is bananas.

To be clear, this is EXACTLY what I would expect from a guy who loves spreadsheets. In other words, you find a style and size of shoe you know fit you perfectly and then you corner the market in every color and application (cross on the far left) they make. It's all very analytical while also being very blingy. Kudos.

Apparently it is pretty common along with sending chats. Just got Mrs. Flounder set up on Zwift and she wondered where the fuck off button was for the creepers.

You actually can turn off group chat and turn off notifications for private messages.
