Need to get riding again!! It has been about a month since any riding and weight training. Skiing has been awesome, but I am starting to feel some of my fitness going down the gutter.

Lots of fun chatter about sock length, tools, nick names, and Jamal dropped a chain and chased back from 0:37 seconds to dust us all in the end.
    See ya next week.

Dropped chain 3 times in the tdz ride. Which was going well until that happened. Made the front group up the climb and there were only 12 of us after the first lap. Guess a non 1x chainring needs a guide of some sort to keep a chain in place.

Also Catherine Pendrel was in there which was pretty cool.

Anyone notice the newish menu option to turn off the HUD? did a ride with coco last night with no display, kind of different, especially in first person view.

Also means Dee doesn't have to go and cross out all our names. Actually I think it's an option to turn off the hud when saving screenshots too.

    Ya,I could do that.
But I kinda want people to see we are doing “185 watts” in the pack, and not be scared if they come join a ride the regulars will ride away from them.
I don’t think the shoots look good without the data:

Sweet! I'm been wanting to turn off the HUD for a long time. That's awesome. Looking forward to trying that.

    Dang Jamal...

I'll be out for a bit. Caught a bad cold, tested negative for the big show.

    Jesus, those power numbers...

I can attest that as a slow guy - Dee & Co. are way too nice and wait up plenty.

Most important: make sure you understand your position on sock length going into the ride, as no one likes a fence-sitter.

Thursday 6:00pm Eastern Time rides are not working.
Since the New Year there has only been 1 or 2 riders show up.
Tuesdays 6:00pm Mountain Time are great with 7-10 riders every week.
Is there a better time or a better day we can try to arrange an Eastern Time ride? Pushing it later so Mountain time guys would join? another day of the week? Just trying to see if it something else might work?

Even if it was only two of us, Falcon and I had a good 2 lap battle last night. 30 minutes and done.

This. And if you want to have some actual style, I'm happy to lend you scissors to cut your socks down.

Thursdays are out for me at this point. I wonder about a Sunday night ride? Works for all time zones, people would have the option to show up and crank or show up and soft peddle the third lap and make it recovery, depending on how it fits in to their world...

I’m doing more running training this winter so my zwift time has been cut back to allow for recovery - won’t likely make it to a second TGR group ride every week

Only answer is long socks, EWG is 100% wrong, we're not triathletes here!

DH - I found the Tuesdays generally work for this east coaster. 6pm EST is prime family time, where-as I can more likely get on at 8pm EST. Been busy w/ work and doing TdZ has been zwift focus, will try and get back on Tuesday night schedule as those have always been fun. I think I made almost all of them last winter, and only 1 so far this season.

    You watch your mouth!

Also, swimming sucks. It's pain in a sensory deprivation tank.

    Excellent point. Revised:

Swimming is constant pain and intermittent suffocation in a sensory deprivation tank.

I got a Kickr today. Without having to search too much, can I join you guys sometimes? If so, what page do I go to for info on the group?
It makes perfect sense...until you think about it.

I suspect there's logic behind the madness, but I'm too dumb to see it.

Follow Dee Hubbs TGR on Zwift, that way I can invite you to all our group rides.
You will get notifications on your "Zwift companion app" about the events.
Ask any questions here, you dont need to dig through 100 pages for info.

I'd be 100% in for 8 PM EST on Thursdays. 7 PM will be dependent on other schedules as that's bedtime hour for kiddos.
