    Sappiness alert. Seeing your kid play a new sport and get discouraged for not being as good as the others, spending the evenings playing soccer in your yard after work. When they score their first goal in a game and the first thing they do is scan for you on the sidelines with effervescent pride for their accomplishment. A quick thumbs up from Dad and getting an undercover thumbs up right back with a smile.
