puttered around baker resort today. nice to get out but the only rideable stuff was pretty flat and none of the steeper pitches were filled in enough. surprisingly light snow for baker. knee to thigh deep boot pen. won't be long now

Holy shit the whole of Puget Sound was at Crystal today. The full array gaiters, snowshoes, snowboard carriers, and skin tanglers on display.

Very thin up high, cores were shot. But powder was skied mid mountain and off the back.

Absolutely fucking dumping when we left GW. Trying to clear snow off my truck and it was catching me up as fast as I could brush it off.

    17/18 is on.

Got caught on Saturday behind multiple car spin out on Chinook just before it closed. Complete clusterfuckage.

Guy right in front of me in a Wrangler towing a small trailer hit his brakes too hard when he saw Rangers lights at the scene and did a perfect slowmo 540. Jack knifed the rig trying to turn around in the width of the road and slid off into highside culvert. If he'd gone other way he'd have ended up in the old growth a couple of hundred feet below the highway.

Ranger waived me through the carnage after commenting on my NWAC cap. Rest of the line of traffic he held. Proves your free hat with a donation pays dividends.

Stevens should be awesome next weekend. I'd highly recommend going there.

Never seen as many turn earners there before. But should be plenty left. Still very thin though.
