Here we go! Hoping to get out skiing with all you kooks this winter.

Here are some weather links that I find useful:

This form of skiing should not be encouraged.

No, that'll just make him better. Accelerant might hasten the burn.

That was apparently a couple years ago but I was too busy skiing to notice!

    Excelerant. Good stuff.

Yeah, I hate park rats who ski without poles, too.

Heliotrope was awesome today up high. ~12-18 inches of dense PNW pow.

Legitimate send on heliotrope! Seems official now...

Not impressed with the forecast or options on hwy 2, I still decided to take my board for a soggy stroll yesterday. Seen an inch or two on the Jupiter cam. Drove up Smith Brook to the back side of rock. Tennis shoes in the rain to snow line at 5'000'ish. Abruplty went from nothing to knee deep. Skinned the next 2 g to the top. Low vis, cascade snow. But depth was no issue! West face of rock is nothing but grass, so it only needs a foot.

Guaranteed to be crap now, but highly recomended if you can catch a window before Smith Brook snows in.
