Another stellar day at the Ridge. Cold, mid teens all day and a brisk SW wind to keep you cool on the boot pack to Microwave. Skied four top to bottom runs in untracked(mostly), deep, cold powder. Leavenworth Skier won't walk with me but my ski buddy Becky and a 70 yo partner were happy to accompany me.

I was too busy working for skiing today. Not all of us are on the ski everyday semi-retired plan.

I'll be up on the hill tomorrow and Sunday, maybe you can convince me to walk my lazy ass up hill.

Hey, someone has to do it. Skied one run in Micro 4 today, nice chalky wind blown transitioning to knee deep settled pow. First time down that since I almost killed myself shit-fuck skiing out there.

Sunday afternoon might be pretty sweet.

Beautiful day up at the ridge. Felt good to get out of the soup.

Oh , and I did a little digging this afternoon.

Wish I was part of the crew. It might be time for a trip west for me. These pictures of the ridge are killing me.

C'mon over and let me look at some skis. Scott is always game for a walk even as a senior citizen, you know Becky...

Nice pics. If that's you in that pit I've seen you up there a few times. I was up yesterday having some fun cruising around. If you see some plain black Lhasas or blue Bro 174s that will be me.
In drove this drunken madman and stopped on a dime! Unfortunately the dime was in Mr. Rococo's pocket!

Who is a good bootfitter that can punch out a whole forefoot in Seattle?
But Ellen kicks ass - if she had a beard it would be much more haggard. -Jer

I think we even surprised ourselves still being able to find good pow at Snoqualmie today. We don't get to farm week-old pow around here too often. Pretty nice, just needed to hide from the wind.

Dumping in the Wenatchee area now. Still cold, 12F. Looks like it's coming down pretty good at Mission.

Jim Page was the guy everyone told me to go to 10 years ago. I never did, then got intuition liners and it fixed most of my boot fit issues. I've had toes punched at Proski on Aurora that worked fine. World Cup in Bellevue was popular but again that was 10 years ago. There is a thread on here about it some place.
