NWS forecasting tonight's storm brings 13 to 21 inches new at 4200ft by 10am Saturday. Don't need leftovers when there's a new serving.

As the phrase goes, "Baker did not suck today" - nice to bump into ya Jed, sorry I ditched you when the chute opened and my powder hunger got the better of me. Headed back up in the morning w/ a crew of two-plankers, hoping to show them around the whiteroom of Chair 8 and beyond (esp. considering tonight's forecasted refill). Blue jacket, green pants, locally-stickered helmut (and fogged up glasses under Smith goggles ) - ask for change for a nickel if you bump into me tomorrow.

    Coverage was "okay"

Chair 5 did, in fact, open later today (~1pm)

Yep, yesterday was pretty darn good up north.

And yet another warning about unexpected holes, creeks, and shit like that. There is a lot of snow but it's NOT all filled in and good to go quite yet. Ski/ride with a partner and keep each other in sight!

    Stupid tgr app.

Anyways, skiing from the top of southern cross until the breakover was pretty good although a bit heavy. Coverage up there was great. It's going to take a lot more snow to open. Any hinting Stevens was doing about a limited opening was nonsense, even daisy had exposed rocks.

Skiing down tye mill was terrible. Holes, sticks and very high moisture content snow that was partially skied out. It was very warm but not raining. Snowing above tye mill.

No a little worse. Normally you don't deal with snow that bad till middle of hogsback.
