Shuttle to MC, ride MC to Fooses and down Fooses to next shuttle. Then what? Back to MC? Repeat with Greens, then Agate?
And another one from Starvation to gather up the vehicles afterward?
Basically what you said. We planned it with a big-ish group and staged a couple vehicles the night before at exit points. I don't remember the specific details, but logistically it worked out pretty well - we finished Starvation right around dark.

    It was a big day.

I have no idea how much descending it was - that's the easy part.

I was just thinking that 3,500’ spread out over 48 miles is essentially a gravel road in Kansas.

Just as I'm ready to attempt a resto of my 2007 Kona Coiler this winter it looks like Kona has wiped out their archives pre 2016. WTF, could they not afford a couple more webpages.

Shit must be dark over there, T-minus 3 years till they completely go out of business?

edit: guess I missed the buyout.... https://www.reddit.com/r/MTB/comment...show_its_true/

Oh yeah, no working dealer b2b site for months, sales reps disappearing/getting fired out of nowhere, basically no carbon bikes available all year, new planned releases shelved (such as an updated process 134 and a gravel bike called the ouroboros), ended the jake line of bikes. And I'd say they're not really competitive on spec/price right now either.

Kona was great company - that sucks.

I saw my $35/year Trailforks renewal was up and clicked 'details' and it showed me an identical option for an $18/year 'early adopter'. Those fuckers shoulda been charging me $18/year without my input/selection.

I had the TF early adopter rate. Also had a Gaia subscription before all the acquisitions. Of course the O+ rate is cheaper than separate subscriptions so I got that. Finally got credited with free TF for being an admin. But they don't give you free Gaia with that. Cheap fucks. I use Gaia a lot when exploring since it has good base maps - the ones on TF suck especially if you're out of cell service. My TF contact is talking to his contact at Gaia to see if they can get me a freebie.

Hoarding like 15 years worth of Bike magazines. When the fuck do I look at old bike stuff with nostalgia? All of it sucked ass and I don’t need a paper reminder of how good current bikes are! WTF is wrong with me? Weird thing to hold onto. My wife called me out on it. To the dump they go! Click image for larger version.

Magazines should be fully recyclable - just take them to your local center...

True but reading early Ferrentino is priceless and never gets old.

I just did a purge of a lot of magazines. Kept the ones with myself or close friends in and then like Mountain Gazette type things.

Anyone have anything they'd like to rant about?

I’ve got a rant. I’m fucking sick of places only having one person working. Spent over an hour at the PO last week because one person was working. In a major US city.
And then it seems like everytime I go into a store like Walgreens, there one fucking person working and ten people waiting to pay. And sometimes the pharmacies within the store are closed because of staffing issues. Big corporations and government: fucking staff up!!! Fuck!!!

Well, to get more people to work at those places, they'd have to make the pay appealing.
