The problem is that the shitty Fox lever clamps the cable with a set screw, so it frays. Derailleurs don't ever do that, because it sucks.

This. Had I not been lazy I'd have changed the cable when I first noticed the fraying right outside of the set screw... but I used the same logic as DTM and figured there will never be enough tension on that cable to break. Famous last words.

Suffering through the worse cold I've had in a few years - of course the weather has been unseasonably warm bright and dry. Should be back to cold and rainy in a few days..

Right in time for you to feel better I bet. I'm having a similar issue with my back, it only hurts during spells of good weather...

I'm pretty sure a still image of that would suffice. Unless you got some cool tricks you wanna show off of course.

Anyone have anything they'd like to rant about?

Online bike shops telling me my order has shipped when all they did was print a label. It’s not actually getting picked up until late tomorrow afternoon? Fuck you first world problems!!!

If you want me to take a dump in a box and mark it tubeless, I will. I got spare time.

Getting a text that your prescriptions are ready, only to find out that it means that they have just started on the order.

In his defense, he hadn't taken his medicine since his prescription wasn't ready.

we've finally hit that prime, sunny, cool fall weather, and I'm 2 weeks into a broken metacarpal....ugh. at least it was clean simple break, and didn't need to be in a full cast.

Two "Local" bike shops attempt to service a 2012 Bomber 55 rc3 evo ti. Combined they have the bike more than a month. Open oil bath, coil spring. One total fail, second shop can barely figure it out after me explaining why oil volume is important, and I don't know shit. Same tech I've have been running since my z2 atom bomb. How is it so alien to people being paid to work on Mtn bikes?
